How to get the sculpted look?

I, like most people love the sculpted look. (Thank-you Michelangelo). It is such a polished and primed look. Of course I give credit to the brushes and make up product but it also due to a very steady hand.

Now you must have heard all the big hi-fi makeup artist and celebs talk about how makeup can change the way you look, create illusion and hide your flaws, well the key factor here is contouring. What contouring can do and does is that it makes you see a more angular plane by using shadow to conceal and hollow in, and light to accentuate, or bring out. In the cosmetic sense, you are taking matte shades that are darker than your skin tone, and creating sharp lines of definition, essentially creating faux ‘indentations’ where there are none. Also referred to as'shading'.

Here’s a diagram, demonstrating the points that you would need to highlight and contour:

To make it easier by using Smashbox’s Step-By-Step Contour Kit or even MUA Pro-Base Conceal and Brighten Kit.

Kim Kardashian

My advice would also be to look at Kim K picture above. See how it is lighter under the eye up to the temple so sweep a sheer shimmer powder along the top of your cheekbones and just under your temples like BeneFit Cosmetics, Lust Dusters Shimmering Powder, Benefit Lust Duster Eye Powder Jelly Roll or my favorite Laura Mercier, Loose shimmer powder.

Next, pucker up to find the hollows of your cheeks. Dust a deep nude blush in the sunken area just under the cheekbone.

Bare Minerals Ready Blush,

Smile and apply a peachy blush using the “cinnamon bun method”—use circular motions from middle towards the cheekbones. Voila! Instant cheekbones!

Look closely at how ravishing +KATE WINSLET  looks at 'Labor Day' premiere on Monday night. She's got a bronze-toned blush concentrated on the bottom edge of the apples of her cheeks, so it makes more of a shadow in the indentation under her cheekbones.

Gather your products and do try it girls! This contouring makeup technique will make your face chiseled. It can be easily attained by all. xxox

Center fold card w/t box

I wanted to show you dolls how easy making cards can be! Unique cards ooze off fabulousity and people tend to think Omooo how hard this is, which makes a good impression for the giver but they are so easy to make.

However, honestly speaking the person/people who came up with them originally did all the hard work and now we need to take it further by using our imagination.

This is a Center fold card presenting in a box.

F

For the Box I took a 7"x 7" hot pink card stock and base of the box is just a mm smaller.

Score it half and inch for the lid and 1/2 mm less for base.
Snip the side, fold, glue and attach some paper clips till they are dry.

Then decorate as you like.

Now for the center fold card I tool 10.5" x 5.5" card in canary yellow.

Now using your scoring board or boning stick or tip of scissors (mine is cricut trimmer) Score and cut.

Score along the long side of the card from the edge to the cut line at 1", 2" and 4.5"

The first, third and center score lines are mountain folds. The second score line is a valley fold. Reinforce score lines to make folds crisp

See it does take it shape.

Stamp and decorate your card as desired.

Do try...xxox

Rimmel long lasting finish 'Alarm'

What color comes to your mind when you want a bold pout ? .....My mind rings an alarminggggg RED!

So here I bring you Rimmel long lasting finish 170 'Alarm'.

It is a bright opaque color and is quite pigmented. Rimmel describes this lipstick as giving the wearer up to eight hours of wear; I’d say I got about up to six and dragged it by keeping hydrated up to seven. It did leave behind a soft stain, since it is a red shade.

Rimmel Alarm Lipstick

It has a sweet scent and the packaging is decent, particularly for a £5 lipstick.

It has a high sheen which works brilliantly if you want dazzling lips. Who doesn't right?

Please do not be afraid of red. Get one for yourself for an instant confidence boost.

Won't hurt your wallet I promise!

Add this for your selfies

At London fashion week I saw and heard so many people buzzing about the hot new fashion accessory! QX10 and QX100

Sony's QX10 and QX100 are odd gadgets: disembodied zoom lenses with their own 18.2- and 20.2- megapixel sensors on the back

Basically, the neat little lens works like a normal camera, but connected to your smartphone.  It means you take take truly impressive photos in high resolution with an optical zoom: disembodied zoom lenses with their own 18.2- and 20.2- megapixel
Getting your phone to work with one of the devices is simple. You connect directly to the lens¿s own Wi-Fi network, and the free Sony app does the rest

What's more, you can shoot it from any angle ( Hello!! huge group selfies) and then adjust the settings from your phone's touchscreen.
All you have to do is download a Sony app for your iPhone or Android,  then link the camera software to your phone via wi-fi. The lens can then be detached and used independently, hence changing the way we'll all take selfies. Yayyy!!

You can also operate the lens from afar via your phone - it uses Wi-Fi rather than Bluetooth, so the range is pretty good

The lens is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones barring ridiculous phablets. The DSC-QX10 retails at £179 and the DSC-QX100 retails at £399. For more, visit www.sony.co.uk.

I would say bye bye IAM:

Hello Qx10:

Go and try it out for yourself before the bloggers beat you to
it. keke xxox

Go Skinny!

Belts have always been my best friend! They keep on coming season after season with some new texture and new design.

One of the trends that I believe should be embraced by all ASAP is the skinny belts. I have noticed a lot of celebs wearing a skinny belt just to emphasize their waist)over their dresses, gowns and jackets.
Blend In
The key is to wear the belt high on the waist. This keeps the torso streamlined and helps lengthen your body.
Shraddha Kapoor
And I am all for metallic belts!

I do believe heavier gorgeous women look much nicer with this look. It flatters your entire body and boosts your charisma.
Go skinny belts go!!! xxox
