Here she tells us how to funk it up!
She started by giving Barringer a high ponytail. The higher the better x.

Chen then dived the ponytail into two even sections.

Secure a long, thin belt around the base of the ponytail. "Woven belts are easier for this because you won't have to punch an extra hole into them," says Chen.

Start wrapping the belt around one section of the ponytail.

Secure the belt with a large bobby pin at the end of the strand.

Chen then took both strands and began to wrap them around each other. "Make sure to coil the covered section around the front of the topknot," suggests Chen.

Secure the ends of the stands with large bobby pins.
