The Colossal Kajal

We desi girls simply love our kajal. Don't we?
So I went and tried the Maybelline Colossal Kajal pen not the pencil. Well I'm not the pencil type person.

What it says it will do is create MEGA INTENSITY + MEGA WEAR for COLOSSAL striking eyes.

My say is that I like it. It is true black though not quite intense, but somehow still manages to look gorgeous. I also like how the pigmentation is build able  It does shine so a good change from matte liners.

However It is semi smudge free. If that makes sense keke . It's not those instant smudge type but definitely there was smudge but it didn't went and create any panda eyes. You can apply it on your waterline though, helps you escape that sleepy look and is simple too. It stayed almost 3-4 hours on my waterline and you need a good makeup remover to take off the remaining traces at the end of the day though its not water free especially when it was 49 degrees.  Like all good ones it gradually fades away.

Over all I am pretty impressed with the quality and will recommend to all the kajal lovers. Go kajrare naina!

Flower: Cupcake liners DIY

This tutorial was made in a hurry so apologies for not so nice pictures!
Take a cupcake liner or in my case liners from Ferrero rocher.
You need a minimum of 5 liner go for more to make it bloomer.

Take a liner and fold it in half then again half
1st liner you need to fold it as following to make the first two petal smaller.

Press in half
 Fold

Fold both ends towards center

Snip

Open it and cut through half

Take liner and press it half and fold it

 again fold
Snip the top like a valley

Open cut through half

See the difference between  the 2 petal

Start gluing it on wire/ stick/ toothpick
Make sure you when you glue the liner don't let them slide down paste it on top of each other makes it look nicer.

Tresemmé Heat Defence Styling Spray

There’s one rule when you expose your hair to heat- the hair must be protected. Protecting your hair against heat is the fundamental step for achieving better condition, protected hair when using heated appliances. Even the heat from hair dryers can be incredibly damaging to the hair, which isn't useful for ladies like me who aren't a fan of the wash-n-go look but want to grow their hair and reduce split ends. I simply can not stress how important protecting your hair from heat is, even the summer sun can be damaging to our precious locks. I feel people seem to underestimate the damage heat can do to your hair.

As earlier I mentioned L’Oreal Studio Line Hot Straight Cream which is fab and so is Tresemmé Heat Defence Styling Spray. I keep interchanging my hair and skin products because I have thing where I feel that my hair would get used to it and stop reacting the way I want. It can be just my own superstition.

Now of course one cannot let go of their heat appliances completely, I recommend Tresemmé Heat Defence Styling Spray. It also offers protection up to 230° C of heat - one of the highest celsius protections on the market.

The defence spray is packaged in a tall plastic tube which follows a similar design to the Tresemme range - a black tube with coloured lettering. This tube isn't so ideal for travelling in your handbag but a miniature 60ml bottle is available, I own 2 of these also because they're so handy for holidays.

To release the product simply press the safety button inwards and pull back the spritz mechanism with your finger. The nozzle sprays a nice wide veil of product onto the hair, I find four spritzes across my hair is more than enough then work it through the lengths with my fingers.

You only need to use this spray once, on wet or dry hair, and then you can apply as much heat as you desire.

The formula is a thin dispersible liquid, which disperses through the hair with ease without depositing any sticky or tacky residue. It isn't noticeable in the hair while it's applied or once it has dried, and doesn't leave the hair feeling greasy or damp if applied to dry hair.

What I love about Tresemme Heat Defence is that it does exactly as it claims and more. Every use protects my hair against heat and helps my hair dry a lot quicker whether it be naturally or with a hair dryer. I find when I don't use this defence spray my split ends feel dryer, more visible, and my hair feels quite coarse to the touch after applying heat. The spray also boosts shine in the hair and leaves it feeling touchably soft.
The scent is quite neutral and reminds me of a classic salon scent, it's very pleasing and leaves my hair smelling attractive all day.

What most pleases me about the product is its longevity, one bottle lasts me a good few months even with regular, weekly usage.

So what are you waiting for. Rush Rush and keep your hair protected...Always. xxox

Braided ribbon headband

My cousin wanted me to make a lil something for her and I made her a braided headband. It's simple, look different and makes a great gift.

Gather a headband and about 4 1/2 yards of ribbon. You can use any with — I chose 1/4 inch. The braiding will be two toned if the ribbon is different on the front and back, another nice look!

Begin by finding the middle of the ribbon. In the middle of the ribbon make a loop crossing the left side over the right. (which way you start doesn’t matter — I am left handed)
Now bring the bottom ribbon up and make a loop and send it through the beginning loop that you just made by crossing the ribbon.

Pull the right side snug.
Now repeat for the other side, picking up the right side, making a loop and sending it up through the loop just made on the other side.
Pull the left side snug. Make a loop with the left side sending it through the loop made on the other side.
Pull right side snug.

Continue braiding until you have a piece long enough to cover the headband. Clip the end.
You will not be making a loop this time. Bring the other side over and then trim. Fold ends under and hot glue.
Hot glue ribbon to headband.
and finished.
I have one very happy baby cousin right now.
