Rimmel: kate Moss Lipstick

On my latest trips to boots I picked up the Kate Moss lipstick in Shade 111 Kiss of Life and 22 on my new quest to find the perfect red lipstick.

I am a yellow undertone so I wanted something orange but not too orange and something pink but not too pink.

It's a dream to rock that perfect red lipstick.

The price is really good for a high street lipstick seen as the basic Revlon Matte Lipstick is £7.49 in boots and  L'oreal £9.19! I think Rimmel could have easily bumped the price right up for these as 'Kate Moss' has her name attached but I'm glad they haven't. I absolutely love the red and black packaging it's different then everything else.

The lipstick is highly pigmented and two swipes is enough to make it completely full coverage, it applies smoothly and evenly. If I apply at breakfast I don't find myself needing to reapply till around lunch time only if am hydrated. I  which is similar staying power to my mac lipsticks and exactly what I except, it does go patchy after eating.

I didn't find this lipstick drying at all which I was surprised about seen as it is matte and this is usually the biggest issue.

This Lipstick has to same scent and taste of the Rimmel Apocalips.

I would recommend this lipstick. Don't be scared of it being matte It's not as drying.

Head over heels

My search for the perfect creamy peachy/coral blush has ended. After being recommended by my beautiful sista I headed over to

Topshop to buy my first ever make-up product from there and I

have to say I will be going back
 for more!

I am not a cream blush fan because I have oily skin so was a bit

apprehensive about buying this! However I am in love with it,

and about to purchase more.

This is head over heels and now I know why they named it that.

Ilooks orangey but it actually gives you a very fresh glow.

Now
that winter is heading our way we girls need that healthy glow , don't we?

It is also very pigmented and go on amazing with my stippling brush.

I am actually breaking out these days so I am not using
any kind of foundation just a lil bit of primer, blush and liner and I am good to go.

What amazes me is that it is only £6. and quality is so high end, makes me love it more.

If you're on the fence about buying this product, please do buy it, you won't regret it!

Rachel's strawberry lock

How uber chic does +Rachel McAdams  looks in this Roksanda Ilincic dress?

It's a white dress with a two-tone belt and blue detailing at the rear. With shoulder pads, a high neckline and a modest train the dress was a welcome departure from the star’s normal, chic but rather safe red carpet choices.

The futuristic theme extended to her jewelery too. She
kept her make-up fresh and simple, like her outfit, with rosy cheeks and a light berry lip.

The 34-year-old was at the London premiere of her new film, ‘About Time’.

Operation orange

What we are going to talk about today is my research on Orange lipstick. None of those peachy, corals but pure in your face o-r-a-n-g-e. The list contains high end down to drugstore brands. And no matter if you are fair or medium or dark olive. So go trough the list before you makeup your mind.

BOBBI BROWN -Orange £19

BOBBI BROWN Lip color

ESTEE LAUDER -Pure Color Vivid Shine lipstick- Fireball £20.00

  •                                   ESTEE LAUDER Pure Color Vivid Shine lipstick
It's such a vivid color. Looks great on every skin tone. It's creamy and conditioning.

Mac So Chaud & lady danger £15

                     Lipstick    Lipstick
I know there are 3 shades here but I just couldn't pick one. They are just so fabulous. They all are a little difficult to carry if you are not used to bright orange shades but believe you me...Go for one of these. They are around £15 but are quite long lasting. However they do transfer even though they are matte.

Colorbar Obsessed Orange Velvet Matte Lipstick

This creamy, semi matte lipstick offers to update your look. I promise! The non-drying matte finish doesn't make my lips look chalky, considering it's a very bright color.
It exudes confidence.

Inglot Matte Lipstick 103 £10

It has vitamin E and apricot kernel oil moisturising formula an are paraben free. It leaves a tint when it wears off...which is something I love. It smells like bubble gum...yum!

 Maybelline Bronze Orange:

It isn’t a stark or rusty orange but a pretty light orange with pink tones. The shade brightens up my face instantly and gives a fresh feel to it.

Max Factor Colour Effect Flipstick £ 6.4930 Gipsy red.

This one is good but is a bit cakey. You need to really moisten your lips before you use it.

Revlon ColorBurst™ Lip ButterTutti frutti- £7.99

revlon colorburst lip butter swatches and closeup tuttifrutti

I love this color, I think it’s the closest to my natural lip color out of all of them. I’ll most definitely be wearing this one most often.

Now go on try one for your self. So start googling the swatches and don't be afraid to shine a little.

Cherry blossoms.

I am feeling so festive this season so I keep adding a flash of cherry almost everyday. I know a lot of people are so scared of red and I know its hard to find the perfect one. Don't be scared of a bit of color in your wardrobe, make up and nails. As long as you keep the rest of your makeup to a minimum, and have it natural looking you can't go wrong!

Here are my some recommendations:
