I took this photo randomly and noticed a face. Isn't it amazing how nature is?

Some time it's so unreal if you see them they confuse you.
Every time life takes a turn just look at nature and natural systems for inspiration.
Whether its color for this season for something to brighten up your day just run towards the window take a look at the sky and admire!! xxox and Smiles!

Go Skinny!

Belts have always been my best friend! They keep on coming season after season with some new texture and new design.

One of the trends that I believe should be embraced by all ASAP is the skinny belts. I have noticed a lot of celebs wearing a skinny belt just to emphasize their waist)over their dresses, gowns and jackets. 

The key is to wear the belt high on the waist. This keeps the torso streamlined and helps lengthen your body.

And I am all for metallic belts!

I do believe heavier gorgeous women look much nicer with this look. It flatters your entire body and boosts your charisma.

Shirt and tie card

Here's a quick shirt and tie card -perfect for last minute!

I took a A4 size card in pale green.

Using a Cricut paper Trimmer I trimmed it at 4 inched width wise. 

Fold it in half ans snip a notch 1" down and 3/4" in on each top edge. 

Fold the strip points in at a slight angle so the points meet like a shirt 

Glue down but before that place a tie.

Now for a tie I used a template by Susan roberts. I usually make a origami tie but I don't want puffy sides today.

It's basically 41/2 in length and 13/4 in width.

I used xcut 10mm punch to round the corner.

Also I added stitching marks and some bling.  You can simply button down the collar or whatever!  If you want to add a patterned paper to the shirt front, it should measure 4″ x 4-1/2″. It's all up to you.

Celine Vs Zara

I love pleats! They tend to give of this school girl vibe.
So I fell in love with this PLONGÉ pleated skirt by Celine prefall 13.

It's leather and its $8,100.

But here comes the shorter and faux version by Zara for  $79.90 and we love it.  It is a bit higher on the calf but every bit as classic. 

  
              

A long pleated skirt can be worn in a number of ways: with a sheer blouse, a tight-fitted tank top, or loose cropped top. Add a bold clutch (maybe a perspex) and ankle boots and you're ready to go. These skirts are romantic with their fluid movement and are seductive in a modest way.


Next on my list is this Red Valentino pleated coat:

How fabulous was the opening ceremony of New York Fashion Week?


I personally feel that this was the best presentation done by the co-founders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim in their brand's eleven-year history.

The show was held in New York’s newly-named ‘Super Pier’—a raw, Hudson Riverside pier and we saw such an array of editors, buyers, and assorted luminaries. 

The room was soon filled with approximately fifteen assorted luxury vehicles carrying models dressed in the label’s spring 2014 designs. The cars’ grand procession was followed by a show of mixed-media designs inspired by suburban street racing and traditional Korean clothes.




We also saw alot of motorcycle jackets, racing jerseys, tiny feminine skirts, seatbelt-strap pinafores, Korean landscape-printed leggings, and louche cargo pants included.

Post Partum: kim

A lot of women tend to get new hairstyles to accessorize a major life event. Like marriage, breakup, getting pregnant (Kate got her bangs) and some go for post-partum.

Look who got her mom haircut.  

Kim kardashian ! It seems with her new mommy role has has embraced a new look. She has dyed her hair a very light blonde. Which is a quite a drastic departure from her dark brunette locks. What I love about this look is her ombre style, keeping her roots dark and her blonde hue graduating to a much lighter shade at the ends, though it will take you a while to accept it.

And look she has also taken out her hair extensions to reveal her natural hair which falls below her shoulders. 

But this is not the first time Kim has gone blonde, remember she also had lighter locks when she attended the Teen Choice Awards back in 2009.

I think it's a brave step since peroxiding can severely damage the hair. 

Also I love those Gucci Anita flat thongs.

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer

Hope you all are fab!

Well today I am back again with a post on Rimmel because it has done something amazing, which is that it has combined two of my favorite things with their new Apocalips: liquid lipstick and highly pigmented shades. I am all for bright. 

They have bright this lip laquer in so many amazing shades. I wish I has the skin tone to carry them all off but unfortunately I ended but purchasing Apocaliptic  and stellar. However I must add that I love big bang as well. I mean we all do love the show but this shade big bang is as fabulous but I had to restrict myself into buying just 2. 

I am adding a swatch for big bang as well. It's the red one. 

Apocaliptic is a  bright fuchsia, leaning to the cool side. The finish is creamy with a slight glossy finish. A bright fuchsia like this brightens up my complexion instantly

The pigmentation is amazing with these lip laquer, it applies very true to colour on my lips. 

Stellar is a bold coral, and it’s actually a great balance between pink and orange and coral. Sometimes it looks more coral and sometimes it looks more pink For me this is definitely a summer shade and lovely for anyone looking for a very bright coral!

  

I also love the fact that they have dough foot applicator with a section in the middle that holds the product so you don’t need to keep dipping in to get more.

I like the honesty that it doesn't claim to be long lasting but for me It lasted up to 2.5-3 hours.
