RIP Paul Walker

At 3:30pm today in Santa Clarita, Paul Walker died in a car crash this afternoon when his friend lost control of a Porsche GT and collided with a telegraph pole. It's a sad time as a fan and as a human being.

One mistake and we can loose a lot. They leave this world but they leave a lot behind as well . I sincerely pray for his soul and his family in this tough time.
 

Please be careful when you drive. I know the moment we came into this world, death is after us but still be careful even if it's just for your loved ones.  

Something just, if you understand.

'A new coat'! 2013 is no exception. So gals and dolls cover up
nicely with Big and billowing or sharply streamlined; boyish or womanly; richly colored or pale and interesting. Make your investment soon... Here's a little help from moi:
Victoria Beckham: I know it's sleeveless, how impractical when -2C but how super cute and elegant. Super bright yest has such a womanly feel. 

 

Richard Nicoll: My least fav is over sized but I dunno this does feel right. 

  

Cloe: Looks so comfy and has a zip. Love.

Etro : This year has gone for restoration and layering. 

Prabal Gurung:  Ruffled hemlines need I say more.

Celine: Insanely elegant and I know It's odd but believe me give it some time you will see what I do.  

Prada: Bubble gum bubble gum I wanna chew you up and swallow you. 

Dior: Makes a point and tats all that what matter.

Now you have seen what A/W 2013 has to offer. Pick your style, try various options and buy what suits you best. Because you matter the most. 

Fried fish

How about making fried fish today. Yesh fried. Everything is yummy when fried...trust me on that.

Take any fish and deep fry it today. None of the shallow fry..no no..deep deep okay!!

It's simple and easy like mostly you have made only the batter I changed. Here's what I did different:

1/2 cup flour + 1/4 rice flour 1/4 corn flour+ 1 egg mix batter with icy icy cold soda. You'll feel the crisp difference. Sachi!

These fries are double fried. Once till almost cooked and then you increase the temperature and shock them again. Crisp on the outside and soft inside.  Nom nom away.

Longest straight line

This map show the longest straight line you can possibly sail around the world only touching water, running some 20,000 miles from Pakistan to the Kamchatka peninsula in Russia. The line does not appear straight on this image due to the shape of the Earth.

Baby kanzashi flower tutorial ^_^

Ever made kanzashi flower....They look super cute anywhere whether it's bag, card, hair band , a shirt or even a vase. These one I made are from a 1 inch ribbon. They can be made two toned but it's better if you use 5cm ribbon. and 4 cm ribbon. 

Kanzashi flower can be made from fabric and have petals from 5 up to 75 depending on the design. I made tried my luck with max 23. Let's just say I won't be posting pictures of that ever.

You will need

• ribbon
• lighter/ tea light
• scissor
• needle and thread

 So take any ribbon

take one end and fold it in half and snip

 Take that piece and fold it again

and again

There you will have a cute little petal

Burn the tip where the ends meet

It will secure it.

 See this pic and i'll show you in the end how you have make another type of flower.

 Make as many petals you like

 

Pass them through a thread and secure nicely

 

Now I told you that you can make another flower that is a bit flat. By snipping and burning the back/below side you get a much flatter flower.

Decorate and use as you like. They are around 1/5 inch wide.

Cake slice box/card

I think it's so adorable...it's a cake exploding card but can be turned into a goody box also by gluing the sides.

                             

I just thought it'll make a real cute card. I didn't take any pics while I was making this one but hopefully i'll make another one with pics. xxox
