Lave cakes ◔‿◔

Look what just came out of the oven...hot and gooey and yummy.
These lil gems are incredible.

You can even make them a day ahead and kept them in the refrigerator (extra 2 minutes will be needed if the puddings are fridge-cold when you start)


To cook these lovelies you will need:

Ingredients:

  • -50 grams unsalted butter (plus more for greasing)
  • -350 grams dark chocolate
  • -150 grams caster sugar
  • -4 large eggs
  • -1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • -50 grams plain flour
Method:
Preheat the oven to 200ºC. 


Melt the chocolate and let it cool slightly. Cream together the butter and sugar, and gradually beat in the eggs, then the vanilla. Now add the flour, and when all is smoothly combined scrape in the cooled chocolate, blending it to a smooth batter.

Divide the batter between the 6 moulds.

Cook for 10-12 minutes  and as soon as you take them out of the oven, tip out these luscious silky lava cakes onto small plates.


Serve these with ice cream or eat as it is. xxox
